I used two sets (8) of these for a 450 mile move over the mountains in a 26 foot moving truck. The soft strap loops were particularly useful for slipping over the wooden rails in the cargo compartment. The hooks passed behind the wood rails when necessary. The ratchets are smooth and precise. These straps secured all types of furniture including various dressers, tables, a large glass-door china cabinet and an upright piano.
